Zoo Veldhoven is a zoo near Eindhoven. For many years we were known as the Dutch Parrot Reception Foundation. In 2013 the park was taken over by the Loomans family and renamed Zoo Veldhoven. The collection of mainly parrots was then expanded with birds of prey, flamingos, pelicans and various types of mammals, such as zebras, ring-tailed lemurs and alpacas.
Are you coming to visit? Then you will be literally welcomed by our parrots. You may feed them with special nuts that are available at the cash register. We also have a very extensive collection of birds of prey and owls. At the accommodations you will find information about the animals, but you can also contact our employees. They are happy to tell you more about our animals.
With us you can see more than just animals. We have playground equipment for children spread throughout the park. Also in our covered Bamboo Jungle, which is perfect for colder or rainy weather. While the children are playing, you can relax and enjoy something delicious on one of our terraces.
