This restaurant has been a household name in Rotterdam for years and rightly so. Chef Erik van Loo is here – with son Juliën – in the kitchen and makes statements such as “Only 2 things are important, is it tasty or not?”. Well, it’s nice. Fantastically tasty. The signature dish Bresse Kip has been on the menu since 1992 and, just like the other signatures and varying dishes, is a feast for your mouth. The menu can change every day and the menu changes seasonally. At lunch you can already eat a three-course menu here for €60, but it is certainly worth going for the eight-course dinner in the evening. At Parkheuvel you can sit comfortably, with a view of the Maas and during the warm days it is even better because of the terrace.
